Heads Up

  • Use the Cash Assistance application on (https://a069-access.nyc.gov/accesshra/) ACCESS HRA (https://www.nyc.gov/main/services/snap-benefits) to apply for Cash Assistance, SNAP, and Medicaid at once
  • You do not need to apply for SNAP separately if you’ve applied for Cash Assistance
  • It can take up to 30 days to hear back about your SNAP application
  • If you're approved, you'll get your EBT card within 5 business days
